Announcing: The ethical business challenge 2009

A group of individual entrepreneurs, who only a few weeks ago were complete strangers, are attempting to demonstrate that even though the world is in the midst of tough economic times, it is possible to start an ethical business, generate wealth and at the same time provide desperately needed cash for homeless people.
They will be locking themselves into a house in London for a week commencing on the 18th January 2009 and starting with nothing, attempting to create a £100,000 profit by the end of the week using completely legitimate, legal and ethical methods. 10% of all proceeds will be donated to homeless charities with the total donation target being £10,000
“We have selected homelessness as our cause for this event because this especially cold winter is a very difficult time for people without warmth and shelter” said Paul, one of the groups founder members
The entire event will be filmed and broadcast on television and/or the internet in the near future and there will be a live blog from the house so that people can track progress in real time
The group has already been offered a property in Docklands to use for the challenge but needs as much assistance as it can get from business and the community.
If any organisations who can provide anything that might be useful, such as mobile broadband, computer and telephone equipment, publicity, ideas, internet services, general provisions such as food and stationery are able to support this challenge then the group can be contacted on challenge@resonateglobal.com
